About this project
What is Classic Habbo ?
Classic Habbo is a non-commercial fan project that recreates the social and gameplay experience of the original browser-based virtual world released in 2009. The Service is operated as a hobby; no money is collected and no advertising is shown.
Is this project affiliated with Sulake?
No. The Service is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Sulake Corporation Oy. The trademarks "Habbo" and any related marks remain the property of Sulake Corporation Oy. Original client assets are used solely for purposes of technical compatibility.
How do I delete my account?
Send a deletion request from the email address associated with the account to info@classichabbo.ch. The account and all related personal data will be removed within 30 days, save where retention is required by applicable law.
Account and login
How do I register?
Click the "Register" link on the homepage and complete the registration form. A confirmation message will be sent to the email address provided. Registration is free of charge.
How do I enter the hotel?
After signing in on the website, click "Enter Hotel" in the page header. The game client opens in a new window. No additional download is required for the browser version.
I have forgotten my password
Use the "I forgot my password" link on the login form. A password-reset link will be sent to the email address registered on the account.
Playing the game
Which browsers are supported?
Any modern desktop browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari) is supported. The Shockwave-based client is delivered through a WebAssembly emulator and does not require any plugin or browser extension. Mobile browsers are not officially supported.
How do I create a room?
Open the Navigator inside the hotel, click "Create a Room" and choose a room template. Newly created rooms remain private until the visibility setting is changed in the room information dialog.
How do I add a friend?
Click on another user's avatar inside a room and then on "Add as friend" in the dialog that appears. The other user will receive a request which may be accepted or declined.
Credits, Pixels and Habbo Club
What are Credits, Pixels and Habbo Club?
Credits are the main in-game currency, used to purchase furniture from the catalogue. Pixels are a secondary currency, earned through gameplay and used for rental items and effects. Habbo Club (HC) is an optional membership that grants additional clothing and benefits. All of these are awarded free of charge on this Service.
How do I obtain more Credits?
Visit the Credits page once per day and click the "Claim" button to receive a free daily allowance. No purchase is possible or required.
Reporting and contact
How do I report another user?
Open the user's profile inside the hotel and select the "Report" option, or send a message describing the incident to info@classichabbo.ch. Reports are reviewed by the operating staff and may result in temporary mutes or in the termination of the account, as set out in the Terms of Use.
How do I contact the operator?
